British Airways reveals new summer flight schedule
British Airways has announced its schedule of summer flights from the UK.
The international carrier has revealed that new services to a series of destinations will be launched this year.
Flights will be added from Gatwick Airport to popular summer locations including Alicante, Antalya, Faro, Genoa, Gibraltar, Ibiza, Malaga, Palma, Paphos, Poznan and Tunis.
All flights, except those between Gatwick Airport and Antalya, Genoa, Ibiza and Paphos will start on March 30th, when British Airways will also make adjustments to its US services.
Gatwick to Antalya, Turkey routes will begin on April 10th, services to Genoa start on April 4th, Ibiza on June 1st and Paphos on July 1st.
British Airways will also add new flights from London City Airport, with services to Amsterdam, Barcelona and Warsaw starting on May 6th, reports TravelMole.
Other new services from British Airways this summer include extra flights from London's Heathrow Airport to Malaga in Spain.
This is in addition to the airline's previously announced plans to move current services to Dallas from Gatwick to Heathrow at the end of this month.
As well as the new flights, British Airways will suspend flights from Heathrow, Gatwick and London City airports.
Passengers will no longer be able to travel with the carrier between Heathrow and Detroit, Gatwick and Aberdeen, Nice, Prague and Reykjavik, as well as from London City to Milan Malpensa.
