Biarritz route for easyJet

Biarritz route for easyJet More UK passengers than ever before will now be able to take a low-cost trip from London Gatwick to the French town of Biarritz after easyJet announced it was increasing service frequency to that destination.

Running four times a week from Gatwick, the additional service will allow British holidaymakers increased chances to experience the beaches, food, and sites of Biarritz.

Situated on the Bay of Biscay, Biarritz is called the Monte Carlo of the Atlantic due to its long, hot summers and luxurious surroundings.

Its beautiful range of 18th-century architecture brims with Old World charm and has long been a favourite with tourists.

Equally, visitors enjoy the world-class surfing and the internationally renowned casino which has been open for over 100 years.

Around 10,000 additional passengers are expected to be carried on the new easyJet Biarritz routes with prices set at £25.99 one-way including taxes.

David Osborne, easyJet's UK Country Manager, pointed out that Biarritz is already a "popular destination" among easyJet customers.

"Now travellers from Gatwick have the opportunity to explore one of the most popular destinations on the west coast of France."

"Forward bookings for the route have been strong, which further proves the demand for affordable flights to the sun this summer," he added.

Other new winter routes have also been launched by easyJet from Manchester, Bristol, East Midlands, and Newcastle airports.

These include Geneva, Grenoble, Innsbruck, and the Bulgarian capital of Sofia for customers to make the most of skiing holidays.
